Introducing Niall Proctor, a phenomenal director, videographer, and editor from Vancouver who mainly creates music videos with his company @loggedofftv. Niall is one of the most creative at incorporating mixed media into his videos. It seems like he takes stills from his footage, prints them out, and draws on them before scanning them back into the videos. This adds a youthful and recognizable stop motion vibe to Niall’s work and cool texture. Niall’s VFX and 3D modeling is also out of this world. The intro for the music video “Carrie” by Yurms is such a dope example of how 3D modelling can add a totally new dimension to videos.

Aside from music videos, Niall has created a spec ad for Arc’Teryx which is super dope. Cool to see how creative minds explore other areas of art like fashion. Shoutout the 604. Go watch some Niall Proctor.
